The Supreme Court has ruled in favour of Senator Samuel Anyanwu, recognising him as the rightful National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The apex Court has overturned the judgement of the Court of Appeal in Enugu, which had previously ruled against him.

In its decision, the Supreme Court supported Anyanwu’s assertion that both the Court of Appeal and the trial court in Enugu overstepped their jurisdiction, as the case pertained to the internal matters of the PDP.
