The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) has released new fares for the Bus Rapid Transit and standard routes, following the recent 13 percent hike in services under the Bus Reform Initiative.

This was disclosed on the official X (formerly Twitter) handle, while noting that the changes in the price of bus fares will take effect from March 2, 206.

The Lagos state government recently approved a hike in the price of bus fares in the city, stating that the adjustment is intended to mitigate the impact of sustained economic challenges on public transport operations.
