i-Fitness has officially opened its newest and largest branch in Ago Palace — a milestone that reinforces the brand’s mission to make fitness accessible to more Nigerians.

Setting standard in fitness infrastructure

The Ago Palace facility sets a new benchmark for fitness centres in Lagos. Constructed in just four months, the 3,600sqm space is the biggest i-Fitness location in Nigeria, complete with parking for 100 cars and a full suite of state-of-the-art workout amenities.

As with all i-Fitness branches, the new location offers world-class fitness equipment, over 40 weekly group classes, and access to internationally certified personal trainers. Members also benefit from multi-location access, allowing them to work out at any i-Fitness facility nationwide.

Speaking at the launch event, Foluso Ogunwale, Founder and CEO of i-Fitness, reiterated the company’s unwavering commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles.

“We are excited to open our biggest branch in Ago Palace and reinforce our mission to make fitness more accessible for Nigerians. This facility represents our vision of bringing the fitness experience closer to the community,” he said.

The event was attended by Hon. George Adegeye, representing Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, who commended i-Fitness for advancing public health in Lagos.

“This is good. We commend i-Fitness for promoting the well-being of our community and all Nigerians through fitness,” Adegeye stated.

Expanding reach and impact

Between October and December 2024, i-Fitness launched three new branches in Iponri, Purple Mall, and Ogudu, while relocating its Gbagada branch and renovating its Badore and Surulere locations.

With 25 branches now operational and more in the pipeline, i-Fitness continues to lead the charge in transforming Nigeria’s fitness culture and inspiring healthier lifestyles nationwide.
