The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has commenced the sale of expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of its ward, local government, state congresses, and national convention.
In a notice signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Pa Idigo, and shared on Sunday, interested members are invited to obtain forms to contest various offices, with fees structured according to positions.
At the ward level, expression of interest forms cost N2,000, while nomination fees range from N3,000 to N10,000 depending on the office.
For local government positions, chairmanship forms are pegged at N40,000, while state chairmanship forms cost N500,000, with other categories priced accordingly.
The party also outlined nomination requirements, including a non-refundable N50 fee per nominator and specified thresholds for endorsements across levels.
The sale and submission of forms will close on March 27, 2026, with screening scheduled for March 30–31. The congresses will begin with polling unit and ward exercises on April 7, followed by LGA and state congresses on April 9 and 11, respectively.
The process will culminate in the ADC national convention slated for April 14, 2026, according to the notice.
