The All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the area council election in Pu 109 Alaiyta, located in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), within the Federal Capital Territory

According to the presiding officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), who announced the results at the polling unit, a total of 750 voters were registered in the area. However, only 49 voters turned out to cast their ballots.

The APC secured the highest number of votes, polling 29 to clinch victory in the council election. Its main rival, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), garnered 11 votes. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) received 2 votes, while the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) had 1 vote.

Election officials described the process as peaceful and orderly despite the low voter turnout. Party agents and observers were present during the counting of votes, which concluded without any major incidents.
