The election activities in the Ekeki area of Yenagoa, the state capital, was marred by snatching of ballot boxes, eyewitnesses said.
The eyewitnesses said thugs allegedly sponsored by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) forcefully took away the ballot boxes thereby denying voters the opportunity to exercise their franchise.
