The World Health Organization (WHO) has updated its list of deadly bacteria, the first update in seven years.
The Bacterial Priority Pathogens List (BPPL) 2024, features 15 families of antibiotic-resistant bacteria grouped into critical, high, and medium categories for prioritisation.
