ThankGod Izime is another young Nigerian who started life selling gadgets while he worked with consumer technology distributing apple devices, supporting users with iOS setup, updates, and system troubleshooting, and helping customers unlock the full value of their devices and also learning how products move, how customers behave, and how trust is built through delivery.
So, his early exposure to commerce shaped how he thinks about technology today. For ThankGod, software is not abstract. It exists to solve real problems for people and businesses that need systems they can rely on.
This he did long before passion and hunger to provide easy payment system for customers led him to develop Ultra Technologies, an app that facilitates payments, while ThankGod focuses on vision, Business strategy, and market direction, Emmanuel Chijioke leads engineering and ensures the company’s systems can scale reliably.
Together, they built Ultra App, a financial product designed to simplify users interaction with digital currencies and modern financial tools. Since launched, Ultra has over 17,000 users, driven by product utility rather than aggressive marketing.
For ThankGod, growth is meaningful only when it is supported by strong foundations. Ultra’s early traction reinforced his belief that users stay when products work consistently and solve practical problems.
He went further to study computer science in Nigeria where he developed a technical foundation that allowed him understand how software systems are built. Over time, his interests expanded beyond code into how products are positioned, scaled, and sustained.
To deepen that perspective, he moved to the United Kingdom to pursue an MBA. The transition helped him bridge technical thinking with business execution, giving him a clearer view of how technology companies grow beyond their early stages.
In a media chart, ThankGod said, “Ultra Technologies is now set to launch UltraPay, a B2B focused infrastructure product that will be designed to help businesses accept and support digital currency payments more easily. UltraPay will be built with flexibility and cross border use, addressing challenges businesses face when operating across different regions”.
Continuing, he said, the long term vision goes beyond a single product. It focuses on building tools, products, and infrastructure that make cross border payments with stablecoins and cryptocurrencies simpler, more accessible, and more reliable for businesses operating globally”.
