A fire outbreak destroyed properties worth millions of naira at the popular Balogun Market in Lagos Tuesday.

The cause of the incident which occurred at a five-storey building in the market is yet to be ascertained.

However the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service said that the fire had been put under control.
