Finima community protest at NLNG plant turns violent

Violence erupted when Bonny youths mobilised to the scene to scatter the protest by the Finima community

The protest by the Finima community in Rivers State at the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) plant in Bonny has turned violent. The protest, which began in the early hours of Thursday, saw the protesting Finima community block the gates of the NLNG company, preventing entry or exit.
