Ex-Taraba gov faces 15 charges over N27bn fraud

Gov. Ishaku signs Taraba’s 2021 Appropriation Bill into law

Governor Darius Ishaku on Friday signed the Taraba State 2021 Appropriation Bill into law.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Darius Ishaku, a former governor of Taraba State. Darius, who is currently in custody of the anti-graft agency, was alleged to have committed N27 billion fraud. Fifteen charges have also been filed against him before the court.
