Why have plain peanut butter and jam sandwich when you can have it the french toast way?…Have this for breakfast and you will be glad you did. It is delicious, easy to make and filling. If you do have a sweet tooth this is the way to start your day!

Ingredients
8 slices bread
1 cup full cream milk
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp jam
2 tbs pancake syrup
3 pcs eggs
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Method
Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla essence and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
Heat up a skillet/frying pan over medium heat. Grease with butter or oil.
Dip the bread slices into the wet mixture, allowing it soak up well on both sides. Briskly place in the frying pan. Allow to brown (golden) on both sides.
Spread a tablespoon of peanut butter and then jam on each slice of french toast, topping off with another slice.
Repeat for the other slices and replenish the pan with butter after every batch.
Drizzle maple syrup over the toast and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
