Okojie hands over NUC baton of leadership

Julius Okojie, the executive secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC) has handed over the NUC’s baton of leadership to the deputy executive Secretary of the commission Chinedu Mafiana,  after 10 years in office.  This took place on Friday (29 July 2016) in Abuja.

Okojie, at the handing over ceremony at the NUC headquarters in Abuja, admonished Mafiana to be courageous in carrying out his duties as the acting executive secretary.

 “I will not miss my position at the NUC, but I will miss my staff,” Okojie said.  This comment relates to the position’s sensitive role in the tertiary education system.
