In an effort geared toward addition their own contributions to the development of the law profession in Nigeria and the socio-political landscape, the Nigerian Law School class of ’84 holds it 2015 reunion tagged ‘NLS ’84 grand reunion’ in Abuja.
In a release jointly signed by Mamman Tahir, class monitor NLS’84, and Kenny Apampa, chairman, press/publicity sub committee, NLS’84 local organising committee, the class would be celebrating 31 years of being called to the Nigerian Bar, reconnecting with each other and charting a roadmap for the organisation, from October 9 to 11.
Majority of the members of the class would be reconnecting with one another for the first time in 31 years, they said.
The reunion will commence with a welcome cocktail and there will be a business session at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja and dinner at the same venue.
Some colleagues in the class of ’84 that will be honoured at the dinner are Chima Centus Nweze, Theresa Orji Abadua, Mohammed Danjuma, Olufemi Akeju, Yargata Byechit Nimpar, Misitura Bolaji Yusuf, Mamman Tahir, Maxwell Gidado, and Esther Nnamdi Ogbue.
