The Governing Council of The Chartered Institute of Administration of Nigeria has announced the appointment of Deji Bolusemihi, as chairman of College of Fellows of the Institute effective January 5th, 2026.

The Governing Council in the appointment letter stated that Bolusemihi’s appointment is to provide the required leadership to the College of Fellows and ensure effective management of the affairs and resources in accordance with the College of Fellows constitution.

The Governing Council congratulated him and wishes him a very successful and progressive tenure.

Bolusemihi received his formal education at the University of Lagos and the University of Ilorin, and earned his doctorate from the Swiss School of Business and Management, Geneva.
He has worked across diverse sectors including accounting, insurance, oil and gas, banking, telecommunications, risk management consulting, and diplomacy.

He is a professional member of several local and international bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Insurance of Nigeria, the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (UK), the Chartered Risk Management Institute, the Chartered Institute of Directors of Nigeria, and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).

He is also a Fellow of numerous institutions, including the Africa Business School, the Chartered Institute of Management Consultants, the Commonwealth Academy of Leadership and Management (UK), the Institute of Fraud Examiners, the Nigerian Institute of Management, and the Chartered Institute of Peace and Governance (USA).

The Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA) is a Nigerian professional and examining body established in 1987 to regulate the training and practice of administration across the public and private sectors in Nigeria.

The Institute’s mission is to build a body of professional administrators with high competence by promoting education, practical training, and research in administration, while its vision is to be the reference professional body in the science, art, and regulation of administrative practice in Nigeria and beyond.
