Nigerian digital entrepreneur and marketing consultant Praise Akinlami is positioning himself as one of the emerging voices in Africa’s digital income education space, following the successful launch of his Global Income Bootcamp and the continued growth of his training platform, CPA Dollar Academy.
Originally trained as a civil engineering student, Akinlami began exploring digital marketing opportunities while still in university in 2020. What started as an experiment soon became a full-scale entrepreneurial pursuit.
“I wouldn’t say I completely moved away from civil engineering,” Akinlami explained. “I still intend to practice it in the future, but right now my focus is helping my family, friends, and people around me create financial stability. Digital marketing became the fastest path to achieve that.”
According to him, the analytical mindset developed during his engineering training played a significant role in shaping his approach to business.
“Engineering teaches you to solve problems and work with numbers. In business, analytics is everything. Understanding numbers and patterns helped me scale marketing campaigns and understand how businesses grow.”
Building CPA Dollar Academy
To bridge what he describes as a gap between ambition and earning potential among young Nigerians, Akinlami launched CPA Dollar Academy, a mentorship platform that trains individuals to partner with companies through digital marketing and customer acquisition systems.
The academy focuses on helping students build sustainable online income streams within a relatively short period.
“Many people have passion and talent but limited earning opportunities in traditional jobs,” he said. “Our mission is to show people that location is no longer a limitation.”
A typical student in the program, he noted, begins to see measurable results within about 90 days, with many targeting a baseline of roughly $2,000 monthly income through affiliate partnerships and performance-based marketing models.
Generating Results Through Strategic Marketing
Akinlami’s consulting firm, Profitify, specializes in building direct-response marketing systems for companies seeking to generate qualified leads and convert them into customers.
In one notable collaboration with a mentor and a network of European companies, Akinlami said their campaigns generated millions of leads and produced a combined commission of approximately $465,000.
“Our role was primarily lead generation through performance marketing systems,” he explained. “When companies acquire customers through these campaigns and those customers become active users, they share a portion of the revenue with the marketing partners.”
The firm emphasizes data tracking and analytics as a core strategy.
“What you don’t track, you can’t understand,” he said, noting that every marketing action and conversion step is carefully monitored.
Bringing Entrepreneurs Together
Beyond digital marketing training, Akinlami has also been active in hosting entrepreneurial events. He was credited with organizing the Lagos Catalytic Conference, which brought together speakers from various industries including marketing, finance, and real estate.
The conference featured notable figures such as Chris Ani of Daba.school, real estate investor Bayo Lawal, entrepreneur Jeffery Benson, and Akinlami himself.
“The goal was to gather minds from different industries and spark conversations that could help entrepreneurs grow,” he said.
Global Income Bootcamp
Akinlami recently expanded his educational efforts with the launch of the Global Income Bootcamp, an event focused on preparing participants for the evolving digital economy.
The inaugural bootcamp was capped at 50 participants and sold out quickly.
“The theme was how to create a global income that pays you repeatedly,” he explained. “We focused heavily on artificial intelligence, automation, and how people can monetize the new digital economy.”
Participants were introduced to strategies involving AI automation, digital monetization, and modern marketing systems.
One attendee reportedly traveled from Osun State to Abuja to attend the program.
“During the Q&A session, he discovered why his business had struggled to scale. Once he understood how to systemize his operations, he immediately saw a new direction for growth,” Akinlami said.
Building Systems Over Discipline
As an entrepreneur, Akinlami emphasizes systems rather than relying solely on discipline.
“Discipline alone doesn’t work without systems,” he said. “I focus on building systems around work, health, and community so productivity becomes automatic.”
His team currently includes a combination of core members and contract specialists, including advertising experts, copywriters, and strategic planners.
The company also maintains strict vetting procedures before entering into partnerships to protect its brand.
Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Akinlami hopes to expand his educational programs beyond Nigeria.
“We started with Nigeria, but the goal is Africa and eventually the world. That’s why the program is called Global Income Bootcamp.”
He says success over the next five years will be measured not only by financial growth but by the number of people he helps empower.
“Success for me is increasing the number of people who gain access to this information and watching them transform their lives.”
Advice for Young Entrepreneurs
For young people hoping to build an online income business, Akinlami offers simple advice:
“Learn as many skills as possible, find a mentor, offer value, and stay focused. Avoid distractions that can derail your growth.”
He also credits motivational speaker Jim Rohn as one of his key influences.
Akinlami remains active on social media where he shares insights about digital marketing, entrepreneurship, and online income opportunities.
