AfriGO cards are now available on PalmPay, enabling Nigerians to request the national domestic card directly through the PalmPay mobile app.

This integration expands access to AfriGO by making the card request process available across both digital and physical touch points.

By leveraging a platform already used daily for payments, transfers, and other financial services, more Nigerians can now easily access card-based payment options.

AfriGO cards are designed to work seamlessly across Nigeria’s payments ecosystem, with wide acceptance on ATMs, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, and online platforms nationwide. PalmPay users can request an AfriGO card by logging into the PalmPay app.

In addition, those who prefer in-person assistance can visit PalmPay’s customer experience centers or speak with PalmPay’s over 500,000 agents nationwide for guidance and support on the AfriGO card request process.

Commenting on the integration, Ebehijie Momoh, the Managing Director of AfriGO, said:
“AfriGO represents our long-term vision for a payments ecosystem that is designed around Nigeria’s needs and realities. By making AfriGO cards available on the PalmPay app, we are removing barriers to access and ensuring that more Nigerians can participate fully in the digital economy.”

Also, commenting on the integration, the Managing Director of PalmPay, Chika Nwosu, said:”Many Nigerians still face challenges accessing reliable card service. By enabling AfriGO card requests directly on the PalmPay app, we’re making banking smarter and more accessible, while giving users the confidence to pay seamlessly across Nigeria’s payment ecosystem.”

The availability of AfriGO cards on PalmPay reinforces AfriGO’s commitment to expanding distribution through trusted digital platforms while strengthening the adoption of a payment solution designed for Nigeria.

AfriGO continues to collaborate with banks, fintechs, and payment service providers to broaden acceptance and usage, supporting Nigeria’s transition towards a more inclusive and efficient cashless economy.
