United Nigeria Airlines has welcomed Adedayo Olawuyi to its team as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), reinforcing its commitment to strengthening commercial operations and driving sustainable growth and expansion.

Olawuyi brings over 18 years of extensive experience in the aviation industry, with a strong track record in commercial strategy, network and schedule planning, revenue management, and business development.

Prior to joining United Nigeria Airlines, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Uganda Airlines. He also held senior leadership positions at Africa World Airlines (AWA), Ghana, including Head of Commercial, and served as Head, Business Intelligence & Strategy at EAN Aviation Limited.

Earlier in his career, he held multiple roles at Air Nigeria (formerly Virgin Nigeria Airways), spanning commercial planning, network analysis, and ground operations.

Olawuyi holds an Executive Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from the University of Ibadan.

He has also completed several professional development programmes with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and other global aviation institutions.

She has undergone several journalism trainings by various prestigious organisations. Ifeoma is also a fellow of the Female Reporters Leadership Fellowship of the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism.
