Air Peace Airline’s Abuja-London (Heathrow) service on Friday made air return shortly after departure.

Although the cause of the air return is yet to be disclosed, the airline in a statement said the aircraft returned to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja where it landed without any incident.

According to the airline, all passengers disembarked safely and it’s engineering team is currently conducting the necessary technical inspections and checks on the aircraft.

“Passengers affected by the disruption have been provided with hotel accommodation, while alternative travel arrangements are being coordinated to minimize the inconvenience experienced,” the airline said.

Air Peace also apologized to the affected passengers and appreciated their patience and understanding shown by them.
