Their insights and guidance can provide valuable support, encouragement, and networking opportunities. Don’t hesitate to reach out to professionals on platforms like LinkedIn or through industry organisations.

How can Nigeria’s oil and gas industry be better improved?
I would keep it short and simple by mentioning just a few;
Enhancing Regulatory Framework: Streamlining and clarifying regulations to create a more predictable and investor-friendly environment is crucial. Updating the Petroleum Industry Act to address existing gaps and reducing bureaucratic hurdles can attract foreign and local investment.
Investment in Infrastructure: Upgrading and expanding critical infrastructure, including refineries, pipelines, and transportation facilities, will reduce inefficiencies and costs. Investments in processing facilities can also help maximise local refining capacity instead of relying on imports.
Developing Local Talent: Investing in education and training programmes to build a skilled workforce is essential. Collaboration between industry players, educational institutions, and government can create programmes tailored to meet the specific needs of the oil and gas sector.
Concluding words
First, I would like to thank you for the opportunity for this interview.
