Arsenal has confirmed the appointment of former Atletico Madrid executive Andrea Berta as the club's new sporting director on Sunday.
The 53-year-old Italian, who departed Atletico Madrid in January after a 12-year tenure, succeeds former Arsenal midfielder Edu in the role.
