2 Lounge Restaurant & Bar

2 Lounge is in a class of its own! It has other facilities its competitors in the area do not boast of! 2 Lounge could be described as a village of its own, a community with its own amenity. Perhaps, the ‘Vatican’ of Lekki Phase 1! From the entrance of ‘Fun’ Factory, (the mother of 2 Lounge) where green carpet is laid in such an unbeatable manner; provoking and confirming the indispensability of the green colour to the human makeup, to the extremely rich ‘Fun Turf’, created for ‘footballing’, where customers part with few naira to have sporting activities, makes 2 lounge a favourite hang out spot to be!

Having entered the premises accommodating 2 Lounge with deep breath and sigh of relief, the entrance to the bar itself is a story on its own! One is left to wonder what could have prompted 2 lounge’s type of entrance. The entrance is designed in such a way to reflect football stadium’s underground channel, exclusive for officials coming out of the dressing room to the football pitch! The tunnel is something else at night with disco light bubbling on each step case! Then climbing the up-stair-special porter cabin seems a situation like that of a wide snake climbing to the top of a mountain and suddenly discovers a small world! ‘Small’, but a paradise of maximum pleasure and rest! Cool and decent with transparent glass allowing customers to have a clear view of happenings outside the bar but shielded from the noisy interference! “Executive’ is the best word to describe the chairs/tables and how they are arranged too; providing the comfort its customers are in dire need of!

2Lounge is in the premises of Fun Factory at Block A10 Plot 4, Admiralty Way, just beside The Place, Lekki Phase 1. When things are getting messier at The Place, the very cool and distinguished ladies and gentlemen would usually escape to 2 Lounge.  The bar runs from 4pm Monday to Friday till the last customer leaves, from 9am Saturdays and 1pm on Sundays.

2 Lounge has quite a serene interior, very well cooled and ventilated with a rich bar; beautiful music from all genres delivered by DJ Stingz the in house DJ. 2 Lounge’s kitchen provides a nice array of tasteful finger foods and meals ranging from chicken, Nkwobi, isi-ewu, cow tail, soups from the south-south and eastern belt of Nigeria. But 2 Lounge also promises to start English breakfast very soon.

The bar is lined with drinks from different varieties of wines to the dom perignon, while the bar man delivers various cocktails chilled and on point.

2 Lounge  clientele runs from the entertainment industry like 2face Idibia, Basket Mouth, Bovi, Flavour, Dede Mabiaku, Gloria Ibru, Daddy Showkey and some Nollywood stars who are house regulars. White guys also love hanging out at the bar. It provides live roots reggae music every Tuesday and it has attracted names like Daddy Showkey, Kimono’s daughter, Diana Bada among others. Wednesday nights is when music from the 70s to the 90s holds sway. It is surely a night for matured folk; for those who crave real music!

Thursdays are purely dedicated to Solek the’ wonder’ boy to perform his brand of music (fuji). Friday is dedicated to house music and songs on request. Saturday nights are for beautiful classy jazz music while Sunday is for folks who want to sing along, hence the karaoke.

2 Lounge is a very good relaxation place for the football playing folks after their games at the fun turf 5, a side soccer pitch. The view from the bar is on 2 sides. You can watch the live football games from one side and the beautiful Lekki Phase 1 view on Admiralty from the other side. 2 Lounge also hosts parties and events.
