Obiano wins Anambra governorship election

Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has won the governorship election in Anambra state.

Obiano was victorious in all the 21 local government areas of the state, securing up to 234,071 votes.

Tony Nwoye  of the APC came second. The third place went to People’s Democratic Party (PDP) while Osita Chidoka of the United Progressives Party (UPP) placed  fourth.
