The Niger State College of Agriculture, Mokwa, has matriculated 45 students into its 2025/2026 Pre-HND and part-time programmes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Shaba Maliki (Dr), Acting Provost of the school commended the courage of the newly admitted students under the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), particularly those enrolled in the Pre-HND programmes in Agricultural Production (AGP) and Animal Health Production (AHP).

He praised them for choosing the institution to acquire practical skills in food and animal production.

Maliki urged the students to take full advantage of the opportunity provided by the college, stressing the importance of dedication to their studies in order to earn their National Diploma Certificates in their respective fields of study.

Administering the matriculation oath, Yusuf Doma, the Registrar, advised the students to strictly adhere to the institution’s rules and regulations as outlined in the student handbook.

Yusuf emphasized the need to maintain at least 75 per cent attendance, complete all practical sessions, and fully participate in examinations to achieve academic success.

In his remarks, Garuba A. (Dr), the Register, commended the leadership of the college management and called on the programme coordinator to intensify efforts toward improved service delivery, including addressing challenges facing the centre.

The matriculation ceremony was well attended in a peaceful manner.
