At 20, Nigerian entrepreneur Omotosho Muize Muyiwa, known as Muzerolite, is building digital platforms aimed at improving access to global services for freelancers and online workers.
Muyiwa is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of XeroSMS and LanxaLtd. His work focuses on helping users stay connected, complete transactions, and access opportunities across borders.
His journey into technology began in 2018 when he started learning basic computer skills as an apprentice. By 2021, he had moved into freelancing, offering marketing and software-related services on platforms such as Fiverr. While working with clients from different countries, he noticed a pattern.
Many of them faced challenges when travelling. They struggled with internet access and high roaming costs. Communication delays often affected their work. Muyiwa said this problem shaped his thinking. “I kept seeing the same issue with clients. It affected delivery and income,” he noted.
In 2025, he launched XeroSMS to address this gap. The platform provides eSIM services and SMS verification tools that allow users to stay connected without relying on traditional telecom systems.
His background also influenced his decisions. Muyiwa lost his father at the age of 10 and was raised by his mother. He has said this period taught him responsibility early in life. In 2023, he gained admission to study Political Science at Ekiti State University. However, in 2025, he left during his third year to focus on building his companies.
“That decision was not easy, but I knew what I wanted to build,” he said.
Since then, both platforms have grown. XeroSMS has recorded over 80,000 users, while Lanxa has reached more than 40,000 users. Together, they serve over 120,000 users and process transactions weekly.
Lanxa operates as a marketplace with escrow features and communication tools. It allows freelancers and clients to work together with payment protection in place.
Muyiwa has also worked with groups such as DigitalNerdHQ and BlackHustler Academy, where he shares knowledge on digital work and online income. “I want people to see that they can build and earn without limits,” he said.
His focus remains on expanding both platforms. With a recent update to the XeroSMS application, he aims to improve user experience and reach more people.
“Our goal is simple,” he said. “Help people connect, earn, and work from anywhere.”
