A new destination blending education with recreation has emerged in Lagos as Kidcity Lagos unveils a new entertainment and education hub for Nigerians, in a bid to tap into the country’s burgeoning edutainment market.
Designed as a dynamic hub for learning and entertainment, the facility promises to offer children and parents an engaging space where fun meets creativity, discovery, and interactive experiences.
The grand launch, which was held recently, welcomed families, media, and notable guests to an immersive environment where creativity, education, and fun come together seamlessly.
Speaking on the vision behind Kidcity Lagos, Uloma Rochas-Nwosu, founder, said it was created from a deep desire to build a space for children to truly express themselves, learn through experience, and feel inspired daily.
“We wanted to go beyond traditional play spaces to create an environment that nurtures creativity, confidence, and curiosity in a meaningful way,” she said.
“For us, it’s about shaping experiences that children will carry with them for life, while also giving parents peace of mind and a place to feel connected,” Nwosu added.
Located in the heart of Victoria Island, Kidcity Lagos is a dynamic, multi-experience facility thoughtfully designed to cater to children between the ages of one and 15 years.
The space features a wide range of interactive zones, including creative studios, a kids’ kitchen, cinema, game rooms, music and dance studios, themed lodges, a library, spa, daycare, and dedicated learning spaces, all curated to inspire imagination, confidence, and discovery.
The launch event offered guests a firsthand experience of the Kidcity journey, with notable personalities such as Tolu Oniru-Demuren, Tobi Bakre, Simi Drey, Motun Adegoke, and Ibijoke Shallangwa in attendance.
Others include Maria Chike-Benjamin, Seun Okinbaloye, Charles Born, Ify Okoye, Toyosi Etim-Effiong, and Stella Damascus.
While children explored the various activity zones under guided supervision, parents were taken on curated tours of the facility, experiencing the depth, structure, and intentionality behind the concept.
From hands-on creativity to entertainment and relaxation, the experience highlighted Kidcity’s commitment to delivering a safe, engaging, and premium environment for families.
The launch marks a significant step in redefining family-oriented lifestyle experiences in Lagos, positioning Kidcity as a leading destination for both leisure and developmental engagement.
Building on the success of Kidcity Abuja, which has been in operation for over seven years, the Lagos expansion brings an already proven and trusted concept to a broader audience.
With its unique blend of structured activities and free exploration, the facility is set to become a hub for memorable family moments and continuous learning.
Kidcity Lagos is now open to the public, offering families a new way to experience play, learning, and connection all in one place.
