Achraf Hakimi has dismissed suggestions that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are favourites ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Liverpool.
PSG head into the decisive clash with a 2–0 advantage from the first leg in Paris, where Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia were on target in a dominant display.

However, Hakimi insisted there is no room for complacency in a competition known for dramatic turnarounds.
“In this type of competition, there is no such thing as favourites,” he said. “We’ve already seen a team can come back even from 2-0 down.”

The Moroccan defender подчеркнул the importance of focus and attention to detail, especially against a Liverpool side with a history of remarkable European comebacks.
“We are going to be very focused, and we have to take care of every single detail,” he said. “We are prepared to give absolutely everything, as are Liverpool.”
Hakimi also stressed that PSG are not approaching the tie with a sense of superiority.
“We don’t feel superior to everyone, far from it. The important thing is to enjoy ourselves when we play together. We have the same objectives; we want to win for the club and for the team.”
Despite holding a strong advantage, PSG are maintaining a cautious approach as they aim to secure a place in the semi-finals.
