Dresnice has introduced MarketSource Pro, a wholesale sourcing and supply service aimed at reducing the circulation of counterfeit skincare and personal care products in Lagos.
The initiative targets Tradefair Market, where recent seizures of fake products by regulators have raised concerns about consumer safety and business credibility. Dresnice said the new service connects retailers with verified products sourced from NAFDAC-compliant distributors and authorised importers.
MarketSource Pro is designed for supermarkets, independent cosmetic sellers and procurement teams. It centralises ordering and removes the need to deal with multiple suppliers. According to the company, this structure lowers the risk of counterfeit goods entering retail channels and allows smaller businesses to access bulk pricing.
Dresnice founder and chief executive officer Adimuchinobi Chukwuma described the service as a response to supply chain gaps.
“Counterfeits teach us where our supply chains have stopped caring. The cure is not louder enforcement but a renewed commitment to accountable channels,” he said.
He added that the platform supports compliance and helps prevent unsafe products from reaching consumers.
Across major cities, including Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, counterfeit cosmetics have continued to affect trust in retail markets and raised public health concerns. Industry observers say efforts that improve traceability and sourcing standards could help address the problem.
MarketSource Pro includes verified wholesale supply, simplified procurement, structured pricing for smaller buyers and checks across the supply chain. Dresnice said the service also improves access to regulated beauty and wellness products.
The company has invited retailers and procurement managers to register interest and begin onboarding through its website or its office in Tradefair Market.
