The NALDA boss noted that the retreat was organized to align the coordinators with the vision of the management to ensure synergy and diligent implementation of the Authority’s initiatives and projects.

Speaking on the importance of the retreat, he said, “Just a few weeks ago, we held a retreat for the directors and Heads of departments and units of the Authority, and we believe that we would have a structural problem if there is a disconnect between the headquarters and state coordinators, hence this retreat. ”

Adebayo added that as NALDA’s field officers in the 36 states and FCT, the coordinators are in charge of the execution of the Authority’s projects in their areas of jurisdictions.

He stated, “You (coordinators are at the center of the execution of NALDA’s projects. I charge you all to leave this retreat with a new mindset that you are part of a new beginning to transform Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

“Nigeria is waiting for you. Together, we can build Nigeria of our dreams and NALDA is at the center of achieving that.”
