An unspecified number of residents have been killed following a late-night attack by gunmen in Angwan Rukuba community, located in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Eyewitnesses recounted that the assailants stormed the area at about 7:30 p.m., firing gunshots indiscriminately and sending shockwaves of fear across the neighbourhood.
The sudden eruption of violence forced many residents to flee for safety.

The attackers were said to have operated for several minutes, moving through parts of the community unchallenged before eventually escaping. Their actions left confusion and distress in their wake.
