All is now set for the launch of ValueJet’s Lagos-Accra-Lagos flights. The inaugural flight is scheduled for March 30th 2026.

This is coming as the carrier moves forward with its regional expansion.

Flights will depart from the new terminal at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, daily at 8:00am with return flights from Accra to Lagos by 9:00am.

This expansion follows the successful launch of its first international service to Banjul, The Gambia, and includes additional regional hubs such as Cotonou and Malabo.

Omololu Majekodunmi, ValueJet’s Managing Director, has emphasised that the Accra route is central to the airline’s goal of facilitating seamless, affordable connectivity along the West African coast.

The airline recently added CRJ-1000 aircraft to its fleet specifically to bolster these regional and domestic operations.
Expressing his enthusiasm about the new route, Majekodunmi said: “We are thrilled to commence our regional service with the inaugural flight between Lagos and Accra slated for March 30th 2026. This is a significant step for ValueJet as we expand our network beyond Nigeria and across the African continent.

“With this new route, we aim to enhance connectivity between Nigeria and Ghana, fostering tourism, trade, and tighter economic and cultural ties. ValueJet remains committed to delivering exceptional services to our passengers, and we invite travellers between Nigeria and Ghana to choose ValueJet and experience the best of our service offering.”

“We are hopeful our Accra-Lagos-Accra service will make a seamless connection between Nigeria and Ghana an exciting possibility, as well as boost the economy of the two countries in unimaginable ways. We are proud to play a part in bridging distances and fostering closer economic ties between the people and businesses of Nigeria, Ghana, and beyond, and opening new opportunities for trade and tourism.”

As ValueJet expands its footprint across the region, travellers can expect a wide range of benefits, including promotional offers, exclusive fares, and special packages designed to make this route even more attractive.
