KloverHarris Limited, a Lagos-based business consultancy, has delivered essential palliatives to over 150 residents of the Alpha Beach Settlement in Okun Alfa following their displacement by the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project.
The intervention, part of the firm’s corporate social responsibility mandate, targeted a community already weakened by historical sea surges. On March 13, 2026, the firm distributed food items and domestic essentials, including rice, beans, and vegetable oil, to mitigate the immediate socio-economic shock caused by the loss of homes and livelihoods.

Bukola Ariyibi, Managing Director of KloverHarris Limited, stated that the initiative aligns with the company’s philosophy of fostering positive development. While acknowledging the long-term national benefits of the highway project, she emphasised the need to support vulnerable citizens during the transition.
Yusuf Elegushi Atewolara, Baale of Alpha Beach Settlement, commended the gesture, noting that the displacement has triggered rising unemployment and homelessness within the community. He urged other corporate entities to emulate the intervention to prevent a further decline into social instability.
