A Lagos High Court has granted Winhomes Estate Global Services Limited an interim injunction restraining any trespass on the estate’s land, warning trespassers to steer clear of the property.

Winhomes Estate Global Services Limited is the developer of Winhomes Estate located at Okun-Ajah in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State.

Stella Okengwu, the company’s chief executive officer, said the court order protects the estate’s land, which measures approximately 18.838 hectares.

According to the court ruling, the order restrains the named respondents and anyone acting on their behalf from trespassing on or interfering with the disputed property while the matter remains before the court.

The injunction recognises that the land is currently under dispute and directs that no party should tamper with it until the legal process is concluded.

Okengwu described the ruling as a significant legal step toward safeguarding the estate and protecting subscribers’ investments.

She commended subscribers who have remained patient and supportive throughout the legal process, noting that their cooperation has strengthened the company’s position in the dispute.

The CEO warned that any attempt to sabotage the legal process would undermine the collective effort to resolve the matter, stressing that the law would take its course against anyone acting contrary to the interest of the estate.

She assured investors that the company remains committed to protecting all subscribers, including those directly affected and other investors.

Okengwu added that once the dispute is fully resolved, the estate would be redesigned and properly structured to ensure that every investor’s interest is secured.

According to her, the struggle to protect the estate goes beyond land ownership and reflects the need to safeguard the rights and investments of both diaspora and local investors, who bought into the project.
