The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) has pledged full support to the Association of Corporate and Marketing Professionals in Banks (ACAMB) following a high-level strategic meeting between both organisations in Lagos.
The meeting marked the formal introduction of ACAMB’s new executive committee to CIBN leadership and signaled the start of renewed collaboration between the bodies.
Leading the delegation, Jide Sipe, ACAMB president described the visit as a critical first step in his tenure, stressing that engaging core stakeholders early was essential to achieving the association’s vision.
“When we assumed office, one of the first things we agreed on was the need to visit key stakeholders,” he said, noting that ACAMB wants its partners to understand its direction and support its programmes to achieve greater impact.
Sipe also introduced other members which includes, the 2nd Vice President, Morolake Phillip-Ladipo; General Secretary, Olugbenga Owootomo, Assistant General Secretary, Ademola Adeshola; Publicity Secretary, Abiodun Coker, and Executive Secretary, Fadekemi Ajakaiye
Pius Deji Olanrewaju, CIBN president commended ACAMB’s forward-looking plans, highlighting the importance of reputational management, sustainable corporate practices, governance reforms, and continuous training across the banking sector.
