The All Progressives Congress (APC) recorded a decisive victory in both the chairmanship and councillorship elections at LEA Primary School 004 polling unit, Waru in the ongoing Area Council polls.
Results announced at the polling unit showed that in the chairmanship race, the APC secured 147 votes, defeating its closest rival, the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which polled 21 votes.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) trailed with seven votes.
In the councillorship contest at the same polling unit, the APC maintained its strong performance, polling 121 votes. The PDP followed with 39 votes.
The outcome at LEA Primary School 004 further strengthens the APC’s showing in the area, as results continue to trickle in from other polling units across the council.
