Crimson Oak Partners has launched the SME Performance Lab (SPL), a high- impact, invitation-only programme aimed at addressing one of the biggest challenges facing Nigerian SMEs: scaling without structure.
Designed for founders, senior leaders, and emerging corporates, the five-day in-person programme focuses on helping businesses transition from operational chaos to strategic clarity. While many SMEs are revenue- generating, Crimson Oak Partners notes that weak systems, unclear priorities, and poor execution often limit growth more than access to funding.
The SME Performance Lab combines practical training, business diagnostics, and hands-on mentorship to help participants strengthen their strategy. financial management, sales and marketing execution, and overall operational discipline. The programme is intentionally selective to ensure deep engagement and measurable outcomes.
According to the firm, the initiative is part of a broader effort to improve SME performance and resilience in Nigeria’s evolving economic environment. “When SMEs build the right structures early, they are better positioned to attract capital, manage growth, and contribute meaningfully to economic development,” the firm said.
Participants will also gain access to a curated peer network, business tools, and post programme support resources. A certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
The SME Performance Lab will run from 16 March to 20 March 2026, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Interested business owners can fi nd further details and apply via https://bit.ly/SPLbycrimsonoakpartners
