Whatadeal eCommerce, the online store division of Whatadeal Africa, has successfully hosted its maiden Mega Trade Fair at Oniru, Lagos. The two-day event brought together vendors and buyers from across Nigeria, creating a vibrant marketplace that connected businesses directly with consumers across fashion, beauty, food, technology, and lifestyle sectors.

The fair delivered a lively atmosphere, drawing participation from MTN, MoMo, Honeywell, and Amstel, alongside more than 100 vendors. Shoppers enjoyed exclusive deals, games, entertainment, and interactive brand activations, creating a family-friendly blend of commerce and leisure.

Our goal as an e-commerce platform is to support every business that sells on our platform. Seeing vendors and customers connect and transact in this way has been truly exciting. This is only the beginning. Our vision is to make the Whatadeal Mega Trade Fair an annual event, and each year, it will only get bigger and better.”

Also addressing participants, Wale Lawal, Head of E-Commerce at Whatadeal, highlighted the company’s commitment to expanding trade through innovation:
